      Bordeaux - Dordogne

Discover Bordeaux, listed World Heritage Site by Unesco, with a walking guided tour. Enjoy the beautiful restored 18th C. buildings and newly designed gardens. Thanks to ambitious urban planning imposed by 18th century royal courtiers, Bordeaux offers a large number of architectural treasures. You will discover the most representative buildings of this period, including the Grand Théatre, the Tourny Alleys and fountain, the Quinconces Square (the second largest city square in Europe), St Andrew Cathedral, the Town Hall and much more.

Then, on our way to the Dordogne, stop at Saint-Emilion, renowned not only for its wines but also for the village itself, dominating the Dordogne valley from its hilltop position. It makes up the first vineyards in the world to be awarded as a ‘Cultural Landscape’ by UNESCO, listed World Heritage in 1999 as an historical landscape that remains intact and continues as a working activity.
After a walking tour of the town of Saint Emilion and some free time, enjoy a visit to a winery, one of the Grand Cru Classé with wine tasting. Ride through the world famous vineyards and discover some well-known Chateaux such as Petrus, Cheval Blanc, Pavie and Angelus.
Arrive in the lovely village of Monpazier considered as the best sample of a ‘bastide’ town and sample the atmosphere of a charming medieval village with its covered market as a central square.
