Pick-up at your Paris hotel to gare de L’Est train station, board on a TGV High Speed Train to Strasbourg (duration about 2h)
Meet & greet with your guide in Strasbourg, walking tour around the old town, if in December, visit the Christmas markets.

Enjoy stops in villages in the vineyard like Ribeauvillé and visit Riquewhir, attractive little Alsatian town, in the heart of a wine-growing area, it has little changed since the 16th and 17th centuries. There are wine aromas floating in the streets of Riquewhir! famous for the Riesling production, one of the best vintages in the region. Extraordinary Christmas shop too.

Continue along the Route of the Alsace Wines down to Colmar. Unlike in other regions of France, here the wines are named by the grape that is used (Riesling, Pinot noir, Gewürztraminer...)

Walking tour around Colmar with its picturesque streets with half-timbered and flower-decked houses and the 'Little Venice' district unaltered by time and war…Visit the Unterlinden museum, with the famous 'Isseheim Altarpiece', by Matthias Grünewald, a 24-panels altarpiece depicting the Passion.
Free time for lunchIn the afternoon visit the Haut-Koenigsbourg Castle, where you find yourself in the Middle Ages.
return to Strasbourg to catch your evening train back to Paris.
Arrive in Paris at around 8 pm, transfer to your Paris hotel.
